History and context
Castle Hill preserves a Romanesque rotunda and the Piast Tower. Traces of the former ducal seat sit alongside the contemporary Zamek Cieszyn design centre. It is a useful place to consider how heritage can remain part of present-day life.
Take a closer look
Start with an unhurried walk around the hill, then choose interiors or a viewpoint. Check current access arrangements. Do not assume that every historic tower suits visitors with limited mobility.
